Cracker didn´t been nerfed, he didn´t wish for Luffy to win, total different to Luffy/Kizaru situation.
Cracker legit tried to kill Luffy, Kizaru clearly wanted Luffy to win and save Vegapunk.

Come on man, you’ve read this series long enough know that plot is a valid excuse for stuff like this. Oda wanted Kuma to be the one to save his daughter. And he couldn’t have Luffy enter a forced G5 because then he’d be done for the rest of the arc after entering raisin mode again against Saturn

We know for a fact that Luffy can force a 2nd round of G5 based on what happened in Wano, so I don’t get how you can even argue it wasn’t an option for Luffy. Running around a bit made Luffy more exhausted than literally dying did?

He ate food before returning to the Rooftop with Momo. He then literally died against Kaido, got revived by G5, went raisin mode, then forced himself into G5 again and was out cold for a week after that.
