Dwai. It just stressed me out in the moment because you also stopped posting and I felt I hurt you. I love winning games, but I would never put my wincon above somebody‘s emotional well-being, especially not when it’s somebody I like. Just take it easy and don’t stress yourself out over a game. It‘s all good now, so don’t feel guilty.
Tbf you made yourself look bad by failing to react to new info. I bussed Yoho pretty hard, but you never took that into consideration which just made you look bad. Obviously the scum read of my slot was correct which is good, but if youre not gonna change it based on stuff that happens, you need to try and explain away why it was a bus. In this game, you could have inferred we were all in trouble when I repped in, so bussing was a good play to separate us. The problem was, you just acted clueless and like you didn’t even realise that I pushed Yoho hard. It’s important to remember that having good reads is only one aspect of this game. Making yourself identifiable as town is just as important, so you need to be transparent with your reads and why you hold them so that others can evaluate if it makes sense to hold that opinion or not
I think you’re doing fine. But that’s just because I can usually read you anyway. I also had issues explaining my thoughts and at times I still do, but I worked on it and people picked up on my play style and eventually I learned how to make myself findable as Town. But that’s something that you just eventually have to learn and constantly try improving. It takes time and you’re still fairly new.
As an exercise, maybe try giving examples of what the people remind you of whenever you try articulating your reads? Like say something like, this guy acts like a shady gangster towards that other guy. I feel that would help a lot for now, just so people understand your feelings a little better. Or meta examples of previous games just to give your reads a bit more nuance.
