Point is that a real swordsman doesn’t treat their sword like that
Cabaji and Kaku
I'm waiting for Teach to get the Saber of Xebec from Imu's Flower Room.

I'm also hoping Teach is the Pirate that gets the eyepatch, since our world's Blackbeard is one of them the most famous concepts of a pirate in history, and because Teach fits most people's idea of what a pirate is.

Like i've said many times I think blackbeard is attacking the holy land right now, and the fact that Imu is leaving is great for him.

Shamrock scars Teach's eye when they sword fight in Marijoa.

Next time we see teach, i'm hoping it's with Rocks' sword and an eye patch.

Imu is not going to be happy when they get back.

Would also be wild if blackbeard took an arm off of shamrock.
Do you think Teach will kill Shamrock and/or take the Cerberus out of his sword?

Oda is apparently really hyped for Shamrock, so I think he's a late endgame player.

That's a wild idea, though, about blackbeard, taking cerberus.

Can the Yami take a Devil fruit out of one object and put it into another?

Rocks' attack names felt very Hades/Tartarus themed, and then there's the Eris and Tar. D Eris connection on the shield.

Pandemonium (深淵の呪いパンデモニウム, Pandemoniumu?, literally meaning "Curse of the Abyss"): A powerful two-handed sword strike, Rocks swings his blade down in front of him with immense force. The attack was first seen in use on God Valley, in Rocks's attempt to harm Imu alongside Garp, Roger, Newgate, Linlin, and Kaidou, albeit to no avail due to Imu immediately regenerating. "Pandemonium" (or Pandæmonium, from Ancient Greek πᾶν (pân) for "all" and Late Latin daemonium for "demon") is a term coined by John Milton for his 1667 epic poem Paradise Lost, designating the demon-crowded capital of Hell; in modern English parlance, the word can generically refer to any wild uproar, violent tumult, or chaos.[35]

Fuck it you convinced me in a single post. A LONG time ago, when I was still pushing Zoro Kills Zombie Kaido, the dumbest theory ever made on some levels, I really wanted Teach to get Cerberus.

But, the Kraken Mythical Zoan just fit his narrative evidence so well.

So I'm revising my Blackbeard prediction.

I had him as an Octopus Fishmen, who camoflauges himself, with Eris being a mermaid. His three hearts, as an Octopus, let him eat three Fruits.

The Yami/Kraken, which lets him survive if he falls into the water and crawl out of it via tentacles, and gives him his Darkness powers of the Abyss, allowing him to match and counter Imu.

The Gura.

And the Pika or Hie. Kizarus fruit fixes Teach's speed issues, one of his few weaknesses. Kuzan's Fruit fixes his weakness to water by allowing him to just freeze the ocean while fighting on it.

If i'm wrong about blackbeard, being a kraken, though, and the Yami really is just a Logia, then I believe his third Fruit will be the Yamata no Orochi.

Between the backstabbing and desire to rule while destroying everyone they hate, teach and orochi have a lot in common.

Teach would still be an octopus fisherman in this scenario, it's because he needs the three hearts, but in this case the eight tentacles would be eight heads.

Finally, I think you're on to something and he's going to steal Cerberus from shamrock and play cerberus in rocks's sword.

So my big question with black beard, now, is he a kraken mythical zoan, or is he going to eat Orochi's Fruit?

Just let Blackbeard take Loki's fruit, maybe that will make him feel more like a threat

Only two men in One Piece have this feat and one of them is called the God of Blade and the other is the strongest swordsman in the world, simply only a handful of the very strongest can have it ( thanks Kaido for the quote) :myman:
So you're telling me neither Nika, or Harald or Xebec are strong enough to forge it?

Having a black blade or not is secondary to portrayal of a character. All mid gens including mihawk is portrayed below old legends like WB , Roger , Garp etc where god tiers like imu , joyboy , loki are portrayed above old gens.

BB is a special powerup reserved only for zoro hence characters related to zoro like ryuma and mihawk are only ones who have it.
