We weren't, but Imu is calling Loki "Nidhogg" as he does with Luffy calling him Nika. If war god had another name, it would be logical to call Loki that way and not "Nidhogg".

Yeah, I think Loki has soul powers.

Having said that, as you saw (but I have multiple posts), I think the reason was also that all Gods cannot be DRed. Now it seems they're immune because it is like that and nothing further, but I was theorising that basically every God power was immune for a reason.
Forest God and Sea/Rain God should be immune too for whatever reason because they are gods and cannot be made slaves of another god.

You think inheriting the will is separate from overcoming the struggle? So no villain has been multigenerational or specifically the antagonist of one family.

If those characters are generic characters, yeah.

When said characters became the focus of the narrative and the ones to finally break free of said villain in whatever way (Vivi, Rebecca, Momo, etc.), they won't fall for the same trick. As Rebecca wasn't "parasited" as his father and Momo wasn't cheaohotted and defeated as his, and so on.

i would not feel safe betting large amounts of money that oda would not make magic weapons stronger than multiple named characters people think they are super stronk

It is because you skipped the flashback.

PK level rock's equal harald verbatim confirmed he couldn't beat ragnir pre imu buff. And Kuzan is weaker than Rocks/Harald.

@gz89 just for reference ragnir already demonstrated with its first hit 100x more competent ice powers than pissjuro for example

Nothing Kuzan lvel yet and there is so far no indicator (why would held back a superior freeze against imu?) but the way oda writes its also not something i would say "no this cant happen"

Difference between attacks that slow their regen and attacks that don’t. Even Sommers was able to piece himself back together before regrowing his hand when Gaban chopped him up.

It’s just that these attacks affected his regeneration

That is not how it works. Hype or rather portrayal of a character doesn't change from arc to arc. It's not like in one arc xebec is PK level and in next arc YC1 level. If you are talking about power creep then sure it is possible oda introduces more new characters with godly powers but I doubt it.

The king of Dressrosa was Rebecca's grandfather, who was parasited. Kyros forms a thematic trio of puppets under Doflamingo.

Judge is lured in and betrayed Big Mom's promise. Sanji is lured in and betrayed by Big Mom's promise.

Sukiyaki was deceived by Orochi, Oden was... deceived by Orochi.

So you can't even say they won't get manipulated because someone else was.
