The attack on Mary Geoise was orchestrated by the Blackbeard Pirates, and it ties back to a subplot most people seem to have forgotten: Blackbeard’s clash with the Revolutionaries at Baltigo.

The Revolutionaries were in Dressrosa to secure the weapons tied to Doflamingo’s underground trade. However, Baltigo was later attacked by the Blackbeard Pirates, forcing the Revolutionaries to flee.

Blackbeard likely seized those weapons.

Now we see him telling Lafitte to begin preparations. Not long after, we learn that Mary Geoise is engulfed in flames.

The final saga will follow the Blackbeard Pirates moving on multiple fronts:
- Fishman Island for Poseidon (Mosa’s call with Loki already hints something is happening there)
- Wano for Pluton
- Mary Geoise for Imu/Uranus

+ they will gain control over the Seraphim thanks to Catarina devon

BB and BBP have way better potential as FV. They're memorable, they have personal ties to Luffy, and we're being foreshadowed from the pre-TS era. Imu and Gorosei with holy jobbers feel like that final Naruto villain whose name I struggle to remember.

On an unrelated note, how come that BBP have whole ships under each member, but SHP have none 🤣 basically, what BBP currently are is more like Luffy + grand fleet commanders

There is one tiny detail I dont understand.
Saturn is dead. Devon transforming into him should do nothing except raise suspicion. Heck, maybe even immediately enter the alert phase. Its like playing Metal Gear and you walk in the box right in sight of guard.
What is she gonna do walk around as someone who is dead?

About Catarina Devon, I think her epithet, "Crescent Moon Hunter," may come into play.

Garling, the current Godhead of Science and Defense, has crescent moon-shaped hair. He replaced Saturn, whom Catarina has touched and whose appearance she has taken.

It would be somewhat poetic if Catarina, using Saturn's appearance, took out Garling using the highest echelon of science achieved: the Seraphim.

So if Catarina Devon, while impersonating Saturn, were to give an order to the Seraphim, none of the Gorosei would be able to stop them (except Saturn, who is dead).

i doubt that caribou is telling him about pluton. at most about poseidon, which blackbeard cannot do much about anyway, since the core of his crew is made up only of devilfruit users, so un unlimited amount of seakings popping their bubble is not something they can deal with. caribou, like his father, is an wg agent, or will be one. imu will ally with crossguild, and send them to wano, to take pluton. like crocodile's old org, which tried to take it in alabasta.

This seems like the only probable reason, couldn't see any other way that they can make good use of impersonating a dead person.

I don't know about Blackbeard being the final villain, but I absolutely agree on the moves he is about to make (starting with the attack on Mary Geoise)

It's very weird for me that buildings are destroyed on Holy Land. It doesn't looks like the work of the fat lazy celestial dragons, perhaps it's the power of a certain God's Knights that hasn't been revealed. But it makes no sense for them to destroy the city for some protests.
Next to this scraps of buildings are the Pangea castle that stay perfect intact. If the Blackbeard pirates are facing so much obstacles to reach the castle, all do not make much sense because Blackbeard pirates are dominantly built around infiltration mindset. They should go straight to the castle without much hassle.

However the building scraps remind me of the Liberation technique from Teach. Did he really need to destroy the whole city and risking himself fighting Akainu and Shamrock, or he can go straight to Imu without getting noticed. I'm a little confused if it were BBP or if it were God's Knights.
