Tbh, I´m just glad that the theory that Dragon was a high ranking Marine has been debunked. I was against that for years, because no one else but Sakazuki cared that much about his connection to Luffy among the admirals, and the public didn´t know anything about him. Now, to be fair, Oda did have a character wiped from the history books which is kind of as dumb, but still. I´ll take the little victories here.

I just had a crack theory/shower thought.

Sanji is looking for the All Blue and there's the phrase "once in a blue moon". Oda has made a LOT of associations with space and thus science for Sanji too ofc, what if the All Blue is on the moon somehow or in space on another planet? Logically it makes more sense to be on "Earth" or whatever this planet is, but maybe it can be a "water on Mars" type deal? Idk.

The "All Blue" Lunar Origin Theory

The "All Blue" is likely not a static location on the current map, but a global event or a hidden reservoir controlled by the Moon. Finding it may be a matter of perfect timing—occurring only "once in a Blue Moon" when the celestial and terrestrial worlds align.

1. The Moon as the Key to the Tides
The Moon's primary function in One Piece (and reality) is controlling the tides.
  • The "Drain" Mechanism: With the revelation that the world is actively sinking, the Moon is the most likely "control lever." It may house the ancient technology required to "drain" the planet, lowering sea levels and merging the four seas back into a single, unified All Blue.
  • The "Blue Marble" View: Poetically, the All Blue is what you see when looking at the planet from space. From the Moon, the Red Line and artificial borders vanish—the entire world becomes a singular, unified "Blue Planet."
  • Fairy Vearth’s Secret: Enel’s cover story revealed an advanced lunar civilization. It is possible a preserved reservoir of the "original" sea, containing every fish species from before the Void Century, is hidden within the moon's craters.
2. The Celestial Cook: Sanji’s "Alien" Origins

Oda has spent decades explicitly linking Sanji to extraterrestrial imagery. These aren't just gags; they are hints at his biology:
  • The UFO Sketch: In the author flap of Volume 47, Oda literally drew Sanji as a metallic flying saucer and explicitly labeled him an "alien."
  • Searching the Sky: The color spread for Chapter 533 shows Sanji using a telescope to specifically search the sky for UFOs.
  • The Orbit: Before the Baratie, Sanji worked on a ship named The Orbit, a direct reference to celestial mechanics.
  • Sanvader: In the 2007 Space Time special, Sanji plays "Sanvader," a Martian martial artist attempting to conquer the moon.
3. Planetary Energy and "Moon Walk"

Sanji’s biology is a scientific anomaly tied directly to the solar system:
  • Venus and Eyebrow Energy: In SBS Volume 7, Oda confirmed Sanji’s curly eyebrows hold the "circling energy" of the Sun, Earth, and Moon. Sanji represents Venus—the hottest planet, which uniquely rotates clockwise. When Sanji’s Vinsmoke genetics awakened, his eyebrow swirl flipped to match that clockwise planetary rotation.
  • Master of the Moon Step: Sanji is the only Straw Hat engineered to navigate every environment using his modified Geppo (Moon Step). He uses Sky Walk to fly and Blue Walk to move at Fish-Man speeds underwater.
  • Lunarian DNA: It is highly probable Judge Vinsmoke used Lunarian DNA to modify his children. Lunarians originated from the moon, which explains Sanji's ability to spontaneously ignite his legs (Diable and Ifrit Jambe) without a Devil Fruit.
4. The Mink and Lunar Connection

The Mink Tribe provides the biological evidence for the Moon’s power over the Blue Planet:
  • Sulong (Moon Lion): Minks undergo a "Moon Lion" transformation under a full moon, tapping into ancient power.
  • Electro: Minks produce electricity, the exact power source Enel used to jump-start the ancient Automata (robots) on the Moon. This suggests Minks and Lunarians share a common lunar ancestry.
Conclusion: The All Blue might not be a place Sanji finds, but a state of the world he triggers. By mastering the "Moon Step" in every domain (Sea, Sky, and Space), Sanji may be the only person capable of reaching the lunar mechanisms necessary to unify the world's oceans.
