yeah, but his interest in Nika is what he does/represents. Loki isn´t under the impression that he ate the Nika fruit, he´s under the impression that he will start the final war against the world government, pretty much.
I guess, but the Sun God is supposed to look the same regardless of if he represents liberation, destruction, or laughter, right? Also, why was Loki never taught about the John Elbaf lore?

My theory is that Saint Nerona Imu was in love with Nefertari Lily. I also believe that Lily was in love with Joy Boy, which, ironically enough, may be the very reason the great war broke out 800 years ago and led to the erasure of so many people. To me, this seems fairly clear.

This would also explain why Saint Nerona Imu keeps a portrait of Nefertari Lily in the Flower Room. Since Nefertari Vivi is virtually identical in appearance to Lily, it is likely that Imu desires Vivi as his queen, having never been able to win Lily's affection. (This is purely my own deduction based on everything presented in this chapter.)

The cover page appears to feature Big Mom. (Unconfirmed.)

Spoilers soon.
I like the idea that imu was a revolutionary against the ancient kingdom

Koza (revolutionary) -> loves vivi
Imu (revolutionary) -> loves lily

Imu wanted to free the world (but his ideas was different of joyboy), but then he was corrupted by power

Because it´s mythology, the giants ultimately want to be like Nika, even if they don´t actually have a nika form.

Wasn´t Loki in the flashback when Jarul talks about the John Elbaf lore?
