yes but he need to return first but im agreed about this . BB could offer him an acient weapon for a team up in taking down shanks Kid have no ship so him getting pluton would be raw , Kid also have links to the man with the burn scar since he introduce him in the story . BUt he is a avenger for sure when he return and will want blood from shanks especially since im sure somes of his crew members died in this . Could also be linked to vegapunk there is so much potential with kid right now .

If this chapter confirms that there will be 12 SHs, then I guess Yamato is a shoo-in (latest SBS basically confirmed her joining anyways). The other could be Bonney I guess? Bonney’s been sidelined hard this arc though, so idk about her joining. Loki is just way too strong to join, Oda has to be on bath salts if he actually plans for Loki to join

If Loki turns out to be even just a generic Yonkou level, ok, It's fair to assume Shanks has beaten him. But if It's confirmed that he is Indeed even above PK, unless you have Shanks at Imu's level It becomes unreasonable to think he was beaten or even beaten fairly.
