Explain how Zoro can be fighting Mihawk while Luffy is fighting Imu or BB. Only excuse I can think of is Mihawk getting Domi’d for some reason.

I just can't buy the idea that Shanks, Nusjuro, Shiryu, or whoever else was actually the true strongest swordsman alive, and that Zoro will fight someone else after Mihawk. It kills the entire idea behind his rivalry with Mihawk

Nusjuro’s strength is a secret, so he’s exempt from the WSS title. I don’t see the issue here. And Oda can obviously have Shiryu surpass Mihawk if he wants

God valley should not even be counted since even rox didnt believe whitebeard could help put him down. Rox put his faith in GARP and RODGER putting him down. Not whitebeard.

This is just shitty writing. It's weird to have Mihawk be built up so much and basically be synonymous with Zoro's goal just for Oda to pull the rug and say "Sike! This random character is actually STRONGER than Mihawk!! Now Zoro has to fight HIM instead!!".
It doesn't make sense.
