Regarding Emo's ability, the title refers to "[Ability: Devil Fruit]"(能力: アクマの実 in Japanese)

The strange thing is that the word "Akuma" (Devil) is written in katakana (アクマ) instead of the usual kanji (悪魔) in the manga (悪魔の実). And most likely this is the secret of Imo's ability, it's the embodiment of the devil
