Luffy = joyboy and true successor of Roger
Loki = Davy Jones and true successor of Xebec
Ace Blackbeard and even Shanks being successors
We know Blackbeard is the son of xebec and shares his lineage with Davy Jones but that doesn’t necessarily make him the true successor of their will
We know will is more than just about being blood related the best and most obvious example being Luffy. Luffy being the one to share dreams with Roger and succeed joyboy. It not being Roger’s blood son Ace or adopted son Shanks
Point is same way Ace and shanks might not have been the true holders of their will it could apply to Blackbeard
We know xebec was basically his equivalent to shanks for so him being the one to really surpass them could be interesting
Bet on Loki for being Xebec’s true successor
Same way Ace and Shanks aren’t joyboy or Roger’s true successors. Instead it being his closet rival’s grandson aka Luffy
Blackbeard might just another weevil that thinks he deserves to be the successor of xebec due to being his son. Likely due to his mother

If Imu was going to get beat here and be this arc main villain that won't have been a issue.
But we all know this just Imu intro .
It sort like during ID and Marineford so much shit happen in BB favour so he could walk away without issue.
