A generation of weak men

Apparently short term sleep dep does not have effect but total does, esp if you stay deprived for 24 hrs. Sounds about right, I guess.

Anyways regardless of T sleep is super important...I have been feeling way better and have finally lost weight consistently since I started getting better sleep (7 to 9 hrs consistent).
Congratulations on the weight loss man that's amazing

Yeah but usually people are not sleep deprived for just one day, they are sleep deprived for weeks or months or years, that results in a way worse effect than the 10-15% lower test that you get with just one day of sleep deprivation

And it makes sense since sleep is when your body produces test

Plus sleep deprivation massively increases cortisol, which has an inverse corelation with test

more cortisol = less test

"Do you think you got enough sleep this past week? Can you recall the last
time you woke up without an alarm clock feeling refreshed, not needing
caffeine? If the answer to either of these questions is “no,” you are not alone.
Two-thirds of adults throughout all developed nations fail to obtain the
recommended eight hours of nightly sleep.

I doubt you are surprised by this fact, but you may be surprised by the
consequences. Routinely sleeping less than six or seven hours a night
demolishes your immune system, more than doubling your risk of cancer.
Insufficient sleep is a key lifestyle factor determining whether or not you will
develop Alzheimer’s disease. Inadequate sleep—even moderate reductions
for just one week—disrupts blood sugar levels so profoundly that you would
be classified as pre-diabetic. Short sleeping increases the likelihood of your
coronary arteries becoming blocked and brittle, setting you on a path toward
cardiovascular disease, stroke, and congestive heart failure. Fitting Charlotte
Brontë’s prophetic wisdom that “a ruffled mind makes a restless pillow,” sleep
disruption further contributes to all major psychiatric conditions, including
depression, anxiety, and suicidality."

I started to read Why We Sleep and this is what it starts with

"Every component of wellness,
and countless seams of societal fabric, are being eroded by our costly state of
sleep neglect: human and financial alike. So much so that the World Health
Organization (WHO) has now declared a sleep loss epidemic throughout
industrialized nations.
II It is no coincidence that countries where sleep time
has declined most dramatically over the past century, such as the US, the UK,
Japan, and South Korea, and several in western Europe, are also those
suffering the greatest increase in rates of the aforementioned physical
diseases and mental disorders."

Hey guys, getting high testosterone is one of my goals, I know what it feels like since I've had it a couple times before, however right now I have low test, but Lord willing having it permanently is my goal, and here's how I'm planning to have it, sharing it here to share the results too

I do:
- Have a fit body
- Train a lot of bodyweight endurance training
- Read ( the Bible =) )
- Eat very healthy

I don't:
- Smoke ciggarettes or any drugs or vapes
- Drink any alcohol or coffee
- Intentionally have bad sleep

Personally I think the one thing destroying my testosterone right now is my sleep deprivation, waking up in the middle of the night due to trauma

I believe that that's the reason for my low test, because that ruins my sleep, and sleep is when the body produces testosterone

Plus bad sleep causes increased cortisol, and more cortisol = less test

So after Lord willing that's fixed, I should have very high test

Going to update this with the results and then if anyone else is interested in getting high test you will know this works or doesn't work

No because

I hold the principle of only doing what your body can do naturally

And in my opinion trt is a scam, besides added muscle which may just be from steroids, I see the same low test symptoms in men with trt, trt isn't a solution

The only way to actually get high testosterone is to do it naturally, there is no high testosterone lifestyle from trt

Plus bad sleep does destroy testosterone, but it also destroys health in general, I really need to fix it anyway

Update if you're interested @Zoinks52

PRAISE THE LORD, I have slept well for 3 days, I heard it takes a week to two weeks to recover from sleep deprivation, but I've been getting more and more high testosterone symptoms

Also I have been looking into it and apparently overtraining leads to chronically low testosterone

https://mitohealth.com/blog/low-testosterone-and-overtraining-when-too-much-exercise-backfires

"When workouts pile up without enough recovery, cortisol (your stress hormone) stays high. That blocks the signals your brain sends to your testes to make testosterone. Over time, this leads to chronically low levels.

If you're hitting the gym hard every day—especially with heavy lifting or long cardio sessions, and skipping rest days, your testosterone can take a hit. The key is finding the right balance between training and recovery so your body can keep up."

I trained 19 sets yesterday, 6 for push ups, 6 for pull ups, 7 for calves

So I'll change my training schedule to 4 days a week

Two days push ups and calves

Break day

Two days pull ups and legs

2 break days

Good on you lad.

Make sure you are breathing through your nose while sleeping, mouth breathing is seriously bad.

Man it does make so much sense that overtraining leads to low testosterone though

Besides the reason of cortisol, after a couple sets of endurance it's like there's a battery within me that's run out, I can keep pushing but it's like the natural energy reserves are done, can't explain it scientifically but the feeling tells you enough to know

@Zoinks52 @Elder Lee Hung @ShishioIsBack @SakazOuki

I have just found out about the effects of overtraining on testosterone

Personally I think I definetly overtrained, I would regularly do 12 sets of high rep bodyweight workouts every day, so I'm taking a break now and changing my schedule

But you know, training is very good for mental health, you know how some people say days off the gym feel sad.

However seeing as overtraining leads to "chronically low testosterone", I'm thinking of making a post discussing, what's better for mental health, training every, or high testosterone? Personally I think high test is way better, but what do you think?

12 Reps of each Work out? Bro how much time are you spending in gym daily 3 hours?

That is definitely counter productive until you are on some crazy Hulk Hogan Vitamins.
Rest is extremely important and there is no way your body is getting adequate rest.

BTW @Zoinks52

Like I said before, youtubers who use microplastics as an excuse for low test often have very bad lifestyles

With this, Hamza recently admitted he used a lot of drugs, which due to his cptsd, make him wake up 20 times a night, destroyed sleep

And Sam Harborne just uploaded a video about his lifestyle, look at the thumbnail

In the thumbnail alone, do mushrooms and smoke, not only are those bad, but what happens to your sleep when you do that?

Yeah I just had a lot of fun training but now that I found out about that, I'm taking a break and only training 4 days a week after it
