My theory is basically Zoro will eat Ashura Devil Fruit so let me explain :
With Sanjis exoskeleton and his upcoming Kings haki also Loki coming to the crew Zoro will need a new power up to not stay behind. There is also Saint Nusjuro who is a swordsman but how will Zoro compete and the answer is simple he will eat a Mythical Zoan DF. Without a mythical Zoan it's hard for Zoro to compete both Luffy and Lokis DF abilities so he will fall too much behind.
Now what is Ashura DF you wonder and it is basically Harolds horse which Loki killed, though we don't know how this happened but we know mythical creature souls dont just dissipate like normal animal souls. As you know from Ragnir after his master died its soul didn't simply pass away but dwelled in the hammer so similar thing could've happened to Ashura but it became a DF.
But why Zoro and the answer is so simple Zoan DF's choose their owner just like Nika and Nidhogg. Ashura was called a horse of good fortune and who believes luck most in the crew and is a gambler that is Zoro. Zoro also has a spiritual technique called Ashura. Ashura horse is based on Sleipnir in Greek mythology which is known for its unbelievable speed, walking through land water and sky also it can travel between nine dimensions which also resembles Zoros buddhist dimensions and nine sword style. Horses are also herbivore creatures and Buddhists don't eat meat too though Zoro eats meat he seems to have really close connections with Buddhism.
With this DF Zoros weaknesses like flying and high speed will be solved also there is some other benefits like using 5 swords since Ashura has 4 front and 4 back legs. Ashura is also a giant horse which can go toe to toe with Nusjuros horse DF. In one piece swords change their lengths according to the user like a gaint man Oden and Zoro using the same sword but it becomes small when Zoro uses Enma. With this DF Zoro will be big as an ancient giant and in hybrid form he will have 4 hands. Lets also not forget horses doesn’t really have hands but just legs and horse legs are powerful so this will be a direct upgrade for Zoro.
At this point of the manga i don't think there will be another time skip and Strawhats needs new power ups sooner than later. Zoro will probably eat this DF against Killingham(when he gets power up from Imu) because Zoro always fights Quilin type opponents like Kaku. This ability is also useful against Shiryuu who ate Suke Suke Nomi cause if he becomes nothing Zoro can travel Void dimension, lets not forget Nusjuro too he also seems from death dimension. Zoro who can travel between dimensions will be the only one who could beat those guys and he will be real King of Hell.
If you had the patience to read all that thanks everyone but he can also just eat Sleipnir DF but i think Oda changed that name so it will fit Zoro and won't clash with Greek mythology just like how he changed Myolnir to Ragnir.
