Future Events Imu falls before the One Piece is found

Yeah obviously there could be reasons but im talking from odas perspective as a writer
If it is the case Roger never challenged the WG before finding the one piece nor faced opposition
(so far the only one that ever bothered them were jobber knights for shanks and with how gaban told that story it seems like that was their first encounter with anyone remotly "strong" from the WG)
And we know Luffy journey is a parallel and his narrative goal is to surprass roja, imus falls doesnt make sense no?
Cause if that would be the case we would have a final war toppling imu, the wg, and involving also marines revos, before finding the one piece, something Roger never faced
And THEN Luffy would find the one piece (the official point of suprassing roger) and THEN he would fulfill his true dream
Obviously not impossible but i dont see it narrativly, as this seems a reverse escalation
The proper escalation would be, as stated even by donchinjao 10 years ago:
Luffy keeps defeating Yonkos (done) admirals (getting there but not there) and find the road poneglyphs (1 is pending), find one piece (reaching roger level) and than surprassing rogers legend by doing something he couldnt do because he was too early or was dying or both
If we now take down imu this means challenging admirals, aged up seraphim, gorosei. Where is the tension afterwards for the one piece? Who are the opponents during the race and after?
Like even if you stan BB as FV (and i like bb so far than Imu) that doesnt make sense to me

Villains always fall after we got the full backstory/drama. That's like One Piece most consistent writting pattern.
Except if one believes we're getting the entirety of the void century revealed before One Piece, chances of Imu falling before it is found are near zero.
Also I don't know who is Luffy's final fight, but I'm willing to bet that nobody but Luffy defeating the embodiment of the WG and its atrocities. Anybody thinking otherwise read the wrong manga. WB literally told you Teach wasn't that guy

The war will be triggered by everyone racing to find the One Piece. This conflict will shake the world, just as Whitebeard predicted. We know that whoever finds the One Piece wins, Vegapunk even says so. So what’s the point of more story arcs after that? Where’s the tension? You’ve already won the war.
I think it's possible we get two BB fights.
One on/just before Laugh Tale, right before the One Piece is found. This is where Blackbeard Pirates are defeated but Teach manages to somehow escape.
Then a fight against Akumi No Mi powered Teach alone at the very end, Oda wouldn't have to deal with Blackbeard crew so he can dedicate a chapters to it at the very end without having to make a whole other arc.
My thing is that I can't see Blackbeard Crew filling the role of the final fights for straw hats and their allies when you got gorosei, admirals and seraphims on the WG side so I feel that even if Blackbeard is Luffy's final fight, his crew has to be gone.

With Vegapunk saying that “the fate of the world will be decided by whoever finds the One Piece,” and the panel that shows all the major factions in play, it’s basically confirmed that the final war is all about the treasure. This is the same war Whitebeard was talking about. He added that once the treasure is found, the world will be turned upside down. But how can anyone think he meant another war? All the stakes and all the forces are already on the board. The conflict for the One Piece is the final war.
