Theory I don't think any One Piece readers actually like One Piece

They're only reading it because it offers a low-risk social situation where they discuss power levels. The entire lore part of the story has never mattered to them.

And the "lore" they do like is actually mostly made up from memes (not real lore).

But for a lot of people it has gone on for too long, and has fallen into too many tropes.

Well i can't speak for everyone else but I enjoy the story, the characters and the world building are there moments or plot points that are a bit questionable of course any series that's lasted almost 30 years would have them but that doesn't make it a bad series or gives me a reason to drop it

Been following this series since the 4kids era and ive enjoyed every moment
