There's been a fan theory for a while that Luffy will lose an eye so he can wear an eyepatch, and now some people believe Imu will be the one to take it.

I don't think Goofy will lose an eye, though I would like it if he did and gained an eyepatch.
First reason is that Oda already drew him at ages 40 and 60, he still had both eyes.
Second reason is it's a major design change, and it'll affect merch and other shit related to the IP, and I don't think Shueisha would let it happen, but I could be wrong.
