I'd say a big part of that is the fact that both you and me Owl, read Bleach in bulk.
It's definitely harder to remember stuff when you read something in bulk and there is no discussion about it whatsoever in my opinion.
There's no weekly discourse, you burn through an entire arc in days/a week.
Yeah I don't remember the name of every Visored either lmao, but I bet ya we'd remember more of them if Bleach was an ongoing manga with weekly discussions and powerscaling threads.
Not to say that One Piece has bad art or designs, but I think that plays a big role in it being more 'memorable' so to say.
Although, Kubo has cleaner art and is a better artist than Oda imo.
