Fat arse Skypiean character with more chins than testicles. Captain of Enel's Holy Guard or something. He is probably like Enel's fifth strongest subordinate after Shuma, Ohm, Gedatsu and Satori. The most remarkable thing about him is that he is Nico Robin's first 1v1 fight and basically only proper 1v1 fight until Black Maria.

Yeah, that's fair for you. I just know it isn't the reason why I myself personally don't remember Kubo side characters when I can so readily recall Oda designs for minor tertiary characters that I haven't seen in a decade when I was bulk watching the anime. Hell, I even just remembered a feckin East Blue filler character right now in Eric the Whirlwind. Lmao.

The only filler OP character I remember is Daddy Masterson lmao.

I read Bleach weekly starting from FKT arc, and even hang out on onemanga forums. I adore Kubo's art, but he kinda has "same 6 faces" curse - overall his characters have similar bodies, and less variation in face/eyes shapes. It's kinda similar to Kishi imo. But I still love their attention to detail when doing character designs, and Kubo's art is such a feast for my eyes, so clean and up to the point.

Major characters definitely have better designs for sure, and outta the 3 I think Kubo is the best artist.

Pain's design can't compare to Cell. I really like it, but Tendo is essentially just a slightly order Naruto going through a goth phase.

I have never seen anything even close to Cell's design before it. Imperfect Cell was scary af as a kid and Perfect Cell is the best mix of weird creature + gigachad. I don't even know how you can even come up with a design like that, let alone make it work/iconic.

DBZ had some very solid villain designs. Super Buu's design is underrated imo

I think I prefer both Cell and Dio’s designs compared to Pain, imo.
I might even take Doffy over him, quintessential Oda design with how flamboyant and over-the-top he looks while still being an imposing antagonist.
