Did they ever meet at all?

Was their dynamic at least something like Oden and Orochi or not even that?

Is there even a single Poneglyph out there that mentions Imu?

Right now, the only people who seem to have a personal issue with the Rat King are those who belong to the Davy Clan...

Why does Gaban seem to know absolutely nothing about Imu despite reaching Laugh Tale?

I have a thought that even laugh take doesn’t have the full truth.

it’s not like the Roger pirates collected the entire pieces of the Rio poneglyph didn’t they?

Seriously Imu fighting Joyboy or Davy Jones remotely is the thing I don't believe, it makes the whole void century was Imu hiding somewhere on the sky islands and sending his minions to fight them really underwhelming. We can see how weak these God's Knights are compared to Imu which means Imu has to do the work himself.

The poneglyph is a mystery for a long time, no matter how much Robin had read them, but what we are getting in return are just bread crumbs.

Maybe Joyboy isn't the type of people who hold grudges because they all die smilling like breaking free of life, or you can say he is just optimistic and always looks forward.

The difference between Imu and JB in haki cannot be that big. The reason why Imu fell on his knees was because of trauma, like in the BM and Kaido situations. BM fell on her knees because of Karamel's photo. Kaido was screaming because he remembered how Oden put a scar on him. Kaido's haki was above Oden's haki when he was screaming just from trauma.

If Imu won it was probably thanks to Uranus. He overused it until it ran dry, causing global destruction and sinking the world.

Imu hates and fears Joyboy and Davy Jones. He doesn’t want them to return in any way. He’s the exact opposite of Kaido and more like Orochi.

Yes, this was just PTSD effect. It happened a lot in the story: Robin from Baster Call, BM from Caramel, Kadio from Oden and Imu from JB presence. It's post trauma effect.

Symptoms include flashbacks, avoidance behavior, negative thoughts, and heightened anxiety, lasting over a month and impacting daily life. It is treatable via therapy and medication.

Kaido doesn’t hate or fear Oden at all. He spent his entire life hoping to meet someone like him, strong enough to give him the epic fight he always wanted. Dying in a battle like that would’ve been the culmination of everything for him.
On the other side you have Imu and five old men who don’t want to die at all and spend their lives hidden in an unreachable palace, doing everything they can to make sure Joyboy and Davy Jones never return because they fear them.
Feels a lot more like Orochi than Kaido to me.
