The entire point of Usopp’s hammer is that it’s fake. He’s a sniper not a hammer-man.

Usopp getting Ragnir makes literally no sense in any capacity. People just want it because they’re desperate for Usopp to do anything.

I think it makes more sense if Franky/VP turn Usopp into a cyborg. It was foreshadowed earlier by a statement Franky made and it could actually make sense, as Usopp’s powers have always been tied to technology.
