Speculations Who should defeat Garling?

Sabo doesn't have connections to Akainu at all. They are different generations, they have no interactions, they are different positions I mean Akainu is a leader/captain type character meanwhile Sabo is a subbordinate/first mate type. In the manga in 99% leaders fight the same caliber. Sabo has no business with marines, no ties, from the very beginning of his character he hates CDs. Dragon and Akainu most likely will have deep connections.
Setting aside the Revolutionary/Marine angle, Akainu killed Ace. That makes it personal for Luffy and Sabo.

Luffy would attack Akainu on sight, like he did with Blackbeard, but seeking vengeance isn't in his character.

Sabo is the elder brother that remains and he takes his duties as big brother seriously.

Luffy may clash with Akainu briefly, but I suspect Sabo to step in.

There is a moment in the DR arc where Sabo clearly says that he won't avenge Ace's death. I remind that Sabo's character is about fighting Celestial Dragons who burned innocent people and almost killed him when he began his adventure to the sea. Oda won't ruin his character by refusing his main motivation.

Dragon, leader of the Revolutionary Army vs who I think will be the strongest member of the Gorosei would be most fitting and satisfying to me. Back at God Valley, Dragon wasn't powerful enough to stop what was going on and Garling was at the center of the slaughter and killing games. I think it would be a cool way to allow Dragon to face someone who's both a key figure in the Holy Knights and the Gorosei. Plus, Dragon was tasked with making sure both twins made it to safety and luckily Shanks wound up in good hands, but Dragon couldn't help Shamrock, facing their father, now with both individuals at their most powerful and influential sounds good to me.

Sabo vs Shamrock could be cool.
