I like him for the same reasons Mosa does, its so obvious hes bullshitting every time he acts edgy. plus his animal friends and the way he got serious when they were killed was admirable
His personality is alright. We still haven't seen too much of him yet really. Just mostly chapters with Loki, but not chapters with Loki doing anything.
I think him becoming Tsundere and too one note about that is realistic, but we aren't done exploring the character yet, so I don't think we should be unfair.
Looks badass, powers are dope, nice to see proper rival/counterpart for Luffy who might not get buggered by plot, personality is cool, backstory is interesting.

Loki is a bland gary stu. His addition tot he story is a retcon just as Harlad being this Mythical pirate king level fighter was, oh what his son is even stronger than him.

In terms of the story sure, but in terms of the way he was written, absolutely. He gets everything handed to him by the author. I would have much preferred Loki to be an ussop like character, who struggles with the expectations of his warrior peers.

I like him because he is badass, and I always wanted Luffy to have an equal rival.
Kid and Law are not strong enough to keep up with Luffy, but I hope Luffy has his own Whitebeard, and hope Loki will fill that role.
