You gotta be there in 2010 when people went crazy (me included) because One Piece went into a 3 weeks break. Literally never happened before and it was at the HYPEST moment of all : the timeskip.

I was so hype that I scrapped the Internet for DAYS just to see a little glimps of a raw or a design of the strawhats.

One PIece has always been a drug, it's simply that good. But it's ok. The problem with the fanbase is not about Drugs. It's about illegitimate expectations and bad reading habits.
