General & Others Who Dragon is cooler? Loki's Nidhoggr or Kaido's Azure Dragon?

I have never really liked the big eels aka the eastern dragons so Loki's is better for me.

Though Kaido's hybrid was the real letdown.

Drunken Hybrid Kaido > Shenlong Zoan Kaido > Loki‘s Niddhogg > Kaido‘s lame hybrid design

Nidhogg is the most inconsistently drawn design in all of One Piece, guess the scale is too much for Oda to handle. In some panels he looks hardcore af, in other panels he looks like a fodder PH Dragon.

It summarizes post-ts Oda perfectly in a way. Lot of mid but can drop a banger out of nowhere from time to time

As much as I dunk on Kaido, his dragon design is much better looking than Loki who still looks like a silhouette monster.

Oda totally could draw an interesting western-style dragon but he dropped the ball with the Nidhoggr

I really liked how Kaidos dragon form looked and it is still an epic dizayn though too bad Kaido was just too big and stupid to actualize it's potential. Lokis from is goofy and easy to draw no doubt about that and he even sucks more then Kaido in his DF mastery which he only uses it for aoe attacks. I think Oda may have choosen this goofy and easy style for Loki so he can add him to strawhats or why would it look so bad.

Eastern Dragons naturally suck more than Western Dragons by the concept of them alone. Flying snakes just aren't that cool imo.

True, if a proper western dragon was drawn. But Loda cannot draw western dragons for shit.

To pick between these two, I will prefer azure dragon because it is not pitch black. Atleast put a slightly less black tone like on the underside of the wing, just look at my pfp. So the audience can have a better visual understanding. But the dragon is black and it eliminates people from judging any sort of details.

Nidhogg's only problem is his tummy. His head and wings and tail and back look great.


Kaido doesn't look bad but he is just a wink to Dragon Ball...

Yeah this is how I feel. Nidhogg looks cool but needs an extra layer of details, the Azure Dragon looks so much better every panel of it

I'm a western dragon fanboy with very few exceptions so Loki's is cooler to me

I don't think you can argue against Kaido's being far more detailed though
