I just realized this bum ass fish doesn't have his own dream

AI answer:
"Jinbe’s dream is to achieve peaceful coexistence and equality between humans and fish-men, a goal inherited from his former captain, Fisher Tiger, and Queen Otohime.

His vision specifically involves ending the systemic discrimination and segregation that has historically oppressed fish-men, allowing them to live on the surface world alongside humans without persecution. This aspiration is deeply rooted in the ideals of the Sun Pirates, which Jinbe led after Tiger’s death, and he views joining Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates as a crucial step toward fulfilling this inherited will."

This is literally every fishman dream, get a fucking personality beyond being a fat fish :whitepress:

And don't fucking dare to try to argue that some fish are racist, at least racist fish like Hody or Arlong have dreams of their own.

Stupid fish should just fail and go down the toilet

Idk dreams come from all kinds of places, and having a dying mentor/brother tell you something like Fisher said to Jinbe changes a person. Whats wrong with having the same dream as someone?

Really, some fools think "having a dream of racial domination because you heard stories about how your race is better as a kid" is better than "having a dream of harmony because you met a human child you grew to love, and your beloved big bro told you he hated the part of himself that hated humans?" Just because one is "unique" despite there being an army of tens of thousands of fishmen who wanted it lol?

Fisher Tiger was a slave turned liberator of slaves don't you ever compare this badass character to the blue fat hoe of a fish that is Jinbei

Hody wanted to go up to Marijoa and kill Celestial Dragons, yeah he was delusional and vain but he was more fun than "I am a fish I am opressed I want to stop being opressed"

The issue isn't wanting to end discrimination, the issue is that all what Jinbei has to offer and literally every other fish would serve the same purpose

He is the one who has inherited both Otohime´s and Fisher Tiger´s dream and is the unification of it.
Both protecting and ascension of fishmen as a species and going towards the sun and peaceful coexistence with all other species.
The individual dreams have lost their relevance, everyone rather wants to see Luffy get to the end, and their respective dreams are almost only in connection to the crew or Luffy specifically.

...Yeah. Jinbe's dream really doesn't fit in with the other Strawhats'. Everyone else on the crew wants to become the very best in the world at something, and Jinbe...wants to end racism. Everyone else wants something for themselves. And Jinbe's dream is really more about his community. It doesn't quite gel.

I think a better dream for Jinbe would have been to want to become "The World's Greatest Pilot". Learning how to pilot every kind of vehicle there is in the world. Or wanting to break some sort of legendary speed record, trying to go faster than anyone's ever gone before. Franky could help him out with that! And it would tie in to him being the helmsman on the crew, steering the ship.

It would give Jinbe a THING. Jinbe sneaking off or making excuses so that he can pilot a enemy's cool new vehicle that he falls in love with at first sight or something. And Jinbe DOES desperately need a THING on this crew. A quirk, something to make his personality stand out more. Right now, he's just kind of the straight-man on the crew. And not even a particularly good one at that.

Brook and Jinbe are the only strawhats that have a "dream" who is not individualistic (meaning, something that they are doing for them for). You could include Chopper and Robin, but they are mostly doing it for themselve first.

Brook wants to make Laboon listen to his song and Jinbe wants the end of the discriminations of fishmen.

Those are fine dreams. Do not laugh at their resolve.

He’s trying to be somewhat of an ambassador for his people, knowing that he’s a Strawhat major change will happen via association, so he actually has great opportunity to help his people
