Do you get the feeling that this supposed climax where the FV makes his move is extremely underwhelming? Is there any hype left? I don't mean those content creators who are mostly paid off by Oda to act like the chapters are the best thing since slice bread. Like I couldnt care less about what happens anymore! I've become apathetic to it. Maybe it's because Loki is such an overpowered character oit of nowhere or that Luffy has turned into a messianic figure but this story isnt what it used to be.

No, this is exactly what I wanted to see from the moment the timeskip happened. Younko was always filler for me, because this was just an optional fight. While right now the whole WG line is on stake, because the whole WG serves the King of the World. If Oda makes this arc ending Nika-peace again, I will just drop this series. This is the moment when everyone's life has to be put on stake. A moment of real tension and an unpredictable ending of arc.
I'm pretty blasé on One Piece right now. While I enjoyed the Rocks flashback a lot more than Oden and Kuma's story, the present day stuff just isn't super engaging and frankly, the Straw Hats are the least interesting part of the story. Cross Guild, SWORD, Blackbeard, they're all doing cooler things than the Luff Troop.
Its true that there should probably be more hype about this part of the story. Altough i am loving it,i think these are the reasons why there is not enough hype as there should be:
-Too many breaks: they break the rhytim
-We all dont believe anymore in consequences in this manga: We know that important characters will never die,nor will change in a big way phisically or mentally. Everything remains always the same. Characters evolve but very slowly
-Altough people are curious about Imu,he is a relatively recent character,and the characters that the fandom is expecting since 20 years to do something big are actually Shanks,Mihawk,Dragon and Blackbeard. When we will get them doing something big against Luffy or with Luffy,then we will see a very big hype around One Piece

People were never honestly that excited about One Piece at all through the entire story to be honest.
I've had people tell me directly that they have never liked the story and they are here for the community instead.
Generally, people are like "I prefer the dark mysterious badasses in stories that's who I related with" when I ask them if they like Luffy they say no.
