So Buutenks absorbs tha strongest person he’s EVER absorbed who is also at that point tha strongest being in tha universe. Something he kouldnt have planned for, so something unexpected. And that’s a knock on em somehow….so when Super Buu says he was waitin Gohan to show up so he kould beat em and prove he’s tha strongest and to make sure no one is stronger than em. Does that negate tha other stronger characters that show up after that statement….

So even if we go with this assumption of yours that Buutenks has vivid memory of being Kid Buu, which you haven't proven, he'd still have no idea how his strength compares.
