Although they do share an extremely strong common point; both are characters that @sanjikun is unable to powerscale properly.

Loki's relationship with Luffy is different from Yamato's one.
There is no worshipping but if we look at it closer, there seems to be some respect from both sides, and although Loki is not the type of guy who would admit it, he seems to like Luffy's personality. As long as Oda keeps it soft, I think it will be acceptable.
