I can say it because Zoro until this point used it only like a "double jump". Have you seen him using like Sanji, kicking the air multiple times in order to travel great distances? No, and he probably will never do it. Can Zoro travel from the library/school to west village using clear lance alone? I don't think so.

It can be used so Zoro can change the trajectory of his movement in air once, and that's it. Differently Sanji can stay in air indefinitely freely with 360 movements without a problem, something Zoro can't do. It's not that difficult.

You make it sound like Zoro was just a few feet from the island and needed to use a double jump to travel a short distance, but that's not what happened.

Zoro was falling off the island. He used it to travel great distance to get back on the island. It's that simple. He's used it twice so it's not a fluke.

The manga makes it clear he can use it to travel through the air. The fact that he doesn't it just bad writing and makes Oda look bad.

Honestly, Zoro's mobility is terrible right now.
Everyone at his level is flying across Elbaf within a few mins, while he needs to get carried just to travel a small distance.
Like if Super Sommers had another objective he could literally just fly away from Zoro and there's nothing he could do about it.

Like if Super Super Sommers had another objective he could literally just fly away from Zoro and there's nothing he could do about it.

It's always been terrible, like he needed Jinbe to catapult him to stop Nusjuro, same in Dressrosa with Orlumbus.

No and it's because some seem to have a hard time understanding that a character that can use the technique to travel through the air can you use the technique to travel through the air.

I would agree with you if this was Dressrosa. Zoro told us his mobility sucked back then.

Since then he has improve his mobility and defeated a character with some of the best mobility in the entire manga. He defeated said character while in the air and using his mobility. King even tried to use his mobility to his advantage more than once and it wasn't enough. Zoro then defeats another character (Lucci) with great mobility.

Oda choosing to not have Zoro use his improved mobility make him look bad.

Well for 1 I think G5 is already above every top tier but it's held back by being only 5 mins long. I have Roger below G5 but above Luffy as a whole.

And if nerfed Kizaru held Luffy off using CQC in their offscreen fight (which I think we agree on), does that mean you consider the OG3 Admirals to be above the top tier level? Based on G5 scaling that is.

If Kizaru has awakening then yea I would put them there too. I've been on record saying Kuzan is an awakening away from being confirmed > Prime Garp to me.

But do realize even Luffy doesn't know how strong he is yet, G5 is just looney tunes he can do whatever the fuck he wants and we will see Oda bring out even crazier feats out of the bag.

Honestly I feel like they're high top tier without it so yeah, I can see this being the case. Not sure if they'll be god level but would love the upscale.

Agreed on G5, I've always thought of it as a wildcard form that could be as strong as needed at times.

I was never surprised by WSG and it's effect on Kizaru for example, it just made sense to me at the time that G5 could just use all his power for a single mega attack at the cost of stamina, because that's what he needed at the time.

I've stated this before but people think it's Zoro slander. Zoro has his merits but he also has some serious demerits. Namely his mobility and his durability. Both are at the level of very good normal human (not even top honestly) but in comparison to cyborgs, broken DFs, onis, special bodies and what not he is clearly lacking.

He is still competitive though due to top tier technique, endurance, AP, haki and some other attributes.
