1. He went on a great adventure, was captured, and spent years as a slave in Marejois

2. 16 years ago he returned to FMI and informed Neptune and Otohime of his plans to free the remaining slaves.

3. 15 years ago he conducts his legendary raid on Marijois by scaling the red line.

Oda retcons this and robs Fisher Tiger of the nobility of his actions of returning to free other slaves after himself witnessing the horrors of slavery. And why did he do all this to glaze his bum ass self insert Mary Sue Shanks.

His overkill cope is extra funny when you remember that we literally see Zoro cut a DR giant’s head into pieces, and said giant reverted to normal with no injuries. How does it get more “overkill” than that? Was Xebec doing this to his family members (even though we see their intact bodies laying on the ground)?

One Piece might be great, but it's running between 70-90% due to quality control issues. Oda doesn't utilize oversight and his involvement outside of the manga is the worst of all decisions. His health and personal life are very taxing as it is, so "90%" is kind of a miracle.

Oda probably retconned the Fisher Tiger thing to save face for the Gods Knights, since they look pretty retarded for failing to stop a raid on their turf, I guess an insider helps clean it up a bit, though it's still kind of dumb they don't get involved in taking him down later on
