I agree Shiryou has a point tho, like yeah he seems to tap into a fear (either his self or from someone else) to manifest monster that can fight so far, but he can also manifest concepts like food, its kinda weird and with no limits so far

@soupongo Will the writing around Omen be total nonsense, just like all of Imu’s other powers?
Domi Reversi is an inconsistent mess
HK regen got randomly retconned into being reattachment rather than regen, and the metal heart stuff is also an obvious retcon since there’s no way the Roger Pirates wouldn’t have noticed that.
Imu being able to possess and manifest a shadow version of himself through his 13 underlings is also an inconsistent mess because there was literally no reason for Imu to not use that ability against the SHs in Egghead or against the Roger Pirates. It doesn’t seem to really cost Imu anything.
Given Oda’s track record with Imu’s other powers, I fully expect Oda to provide no explanation for why Imu just doesn’t permanently grant the Gorosei and HKs with Omen
