Interesting to see the anime scene w Loki/Luffy. As soon as Loki said something negative about Shanks, Luffy was ready to swing on a chained man.

People laughed when I said Kidd is going to fight Luffy because of Shanks.

When Kidd comes back. One thing will be on his mind, Shanks.

Eventually either Elbaf/Lodestar, Kidd/Luffy will interact again. They'll likely discuss what happened that day on the coasts of Elbaf. And Kidd will also likely be enraged that Luffy is on the side of Dorry Broggy..and if Kidd learns what Shanks meant and did for Luffy, they'll fight 100%

And like ive said before the rare demaro black joyboy/kidd comment is a blatant giveaway from Oda.

He very likely is, but I will say if Vergo was given Omen I don't see any HK outside of maybe Shamrock hanging with that. I have not seen any HK be even half the fighter Vergo is, his durability alone means he doesn't ever even need to use his regen.
So, aside from jokes, what IS with the weird Vergo glaze I see sometimes? Lol. Like, the guy's durability wasnt even good enough to fully avoid taking damage from PH Law, Sanji and Smoker. He's a competent guy for what he is, but.......he's probably mid diff material for Doffy, who isn't even that strong in the grand scheme of things? Still cool though.

Law's attacks ignore durability. Vergo was like a machine just eating attacks with no signs of slowing down.

I can go through all of his insane feats (trust me they really are pretty fucking wild when you actually stop and analyze them).

But I'll just give you a very underrated example of Vergo's portrayal. https://worstgen.alwaysdata.net/forum/threads/strawhats-vs-dragon.69735/#post-6187870

Law's attacks do, and Sanji's arguably can as well, but Smoker's absolutely don't. And he was causing blood to spray out of Vergo and cracking his head back when he was landing simple elbows to the chin.

Like, I think Smoker gets unnecessarily downplayed fot his performance on PH (mostly because all his fights were unfortunately losses. 😅), but can you tell me honestly that a no name Haki'd up elbow from Smoker has greater AP than.....I dont know, a named attack from Hybrid Sasaki or something? Vergo is strong, he's a skilled Rokushiki user, had pretty solid Haki. But I think the best you can really argue with him is that he might be a competitive fight for someone like Who's Who, I guess?

Sanji kicked Vergo in the face with DJ and he commented on him being like steel.

We have a point of reference against the most durable veteran (this was stated) Oven, where Sanji used a base kick and he was damn near seeing stars from it. Vergo was just anomaly the way he would shrug off punishment. Heck even Smoker seemed to be outlanding him and it just didn't mean anything.

This trait was so defining that even in the OP card game one of his effects is he cannot be KOd. https://worstgen.alwaysdata.net/for...the-waiting-room.78017/page-1045#post-6698624

@ZenZu Is the Doffy family the best arc villain group?

They had Vergo, Pica being able to create a mountain sized golem was impressive, and even some of the lower officers seemed mad impressive. Gladius was fighting Bartolomeo and Cavendish 2v1. Lao G low diffed Chinjao. Senor Pink was one of the best written minor villains, and was about as physically strong as Franky. Dellinger low diffed Bellamy and Ideo.

Diamante and Trebol had pretty bad showings, but Kyros getting his getback on Diamanté was one of the best parts of the arc. Trebol kinda sucked though

Vergo and Pica would body the shit out of vets or tobi roppo. It's crazy that underlings of theirs (let alone Doffy) were bodying the likes of Hajrudin, Chinjao, and Bartolomeo + Cavendish in a 2v1.

Insanely deep crew.

Gladius is definitely stronger than Trebol tbh, only reason Trebol’s a top officer over him is seniority. Dude straight up beat Base Cavendish, he had Cavendish begging on his knees for Bartolomeo to protect him. And then proceeded to push Bartolomeo to high diffed Chinjao while barely paying attention to him

It's only really a thing on this forum, it's mostly just dudes who fawn over him because he looks cool and is, for the most part, a completely stoic character. He acts more like a robot than a person in a way.
It's the equivalent of a kid thinking Wolverine is the coolest character ever just because he's real buff and has those claws (not a diss to Wolverine though he's still a great character).
This obviously isn't just Vergo fans though, a lot of Zoro fans have this same shallow reasoning for loving him so much. They just think he's got a lot of aura and what not so they idolize him.
Ironically enough it's fairly similar to fangirls who only like certain male characters because they find them sexy

Ptsd is trying to persuade newcomers to hate Vergo :ihaha:

Am I wrong?
Do any of the Vergo fans here ever mention things like him being the opposite of Corazon (pirate pretending to be a marine while the other is a marine pretending to be a pirate)? Or do they just talk about him being super cool and strong?
I do think he's one of the weakest villains in the series, but he does still have some traits that are interesting. Yet nobody here mentions those traits. I'll let you figure out why that is.
