Don't like it. Someone like Enel being a "God" or, actually at that point really was a God to everyone but Luffy, was great. Recently though every character is a decendent of a God, a legend or whatever.

The great thing about guys like WB, Garp or Roger was that they were just random guys (although last 2 were Ds) that fought their way to the top.

Not a fan of the four gods getting 'introduced' in Skypiea then not getting mention again until Kaido killed Luffy. That's like what, seven hundred chapters later? That's like all of Naruto and Bleach's runtime to figure out these random ass gods were real.

I would be mostly indifferent if it all didn’t revolve around the silly Nika retcon.
It would be much more positively received if Luffy’s fruit just remained the same and all the talk about gods was symbolic.
