General & Others How Do You Honestly Feel About God’s Being so Prominent in One Piece?

Thoughts?

Don't like it. Someone like Enel being a "God" or, actually at that point really was a God to everyone but Luffy, was great. Recently though every character is a decendent of a God, a legend or whatever.

The great thing about guys like WB, Garp or Roger was that they were just random guys (although last 2 were Ds) that fought their way to the top.

It’s whatever for me—they aren’t genuinely gods, just people who became worshipped as gods as their legends grew.

I never cared much for Roger’s generation and I care only slightly more to hear about Nika’s. So it’s just wallpaper to the story for me.

Except these few seem to be actual gods pre fruits.
Devil fruits are people’s dreams right? Well, the fruit versions of them are likely just that.

The real versions could be whatever—we know the world was much more advanced than even Vegapunk’s island which means they could’ve all been doing Germa66 shit to themselves or naturally powerful.

Not a fan of the four gods getting 'introduced' in Skypiea then not getting mention again until Kaido killed Luffy. That's like what, seven hundred chapters later? That's like all of Naruto and Bleach's runtime to figure out these random ass gods were real.

But that's Goda for ya.
