  • Zoro will be high top tier (Kaido, Shanks, Midhawk, Sengoku)

  • Zoro will be PK tier (Roger, Primebeard, Prime Garp,,Harald, Xebec, current Luffy)

  • Zoro will be PK+ tier (current Loki, HK Harald)

  • Sanji will be YC+ level (Sabo, Yamato, Benn Beckman, etc)

  • Sanji will be Old Gen/Low top tier (Old Rayleigh, Old Gaban, Old Sengoku, etc)

Ray was able to scare of Teach bcoz of his pedigree and not necessarily his strength at the time and Ray himself even admitted that he wouldn't be able to beat Teach at his current level. Teach at the point was arguably the weakest Yonko.

Also as strong as Prime Ray and Prime Gaban were, the standard they were at was for Roger the PK. Luffy is going to go one step further being the reincarnation of joy boy so Prime Ray/ Prime Gaban is the wings floor.

Moreover, there is no point in Oda having Imu absolutely embarass the wings only for them to be getting swift diff after their PUs this arc. At the very least it shouldn't be a one tap in similar scenarios and shit like YC+, Yamato level, Old man level etc aren't going to cut it.

Lastly Yasheen you cannot be serious with the Dorry Broggy ting surely? :risisweat:
Current Zoro and Sanji are stronger than those two or do you mean bounty benchmark?
Oda holds D and B to a high standard they’re the 2 strongest giants on the planet after Loki and Oda having them fight alongside shanks rather than shanks own crew. If Zoro and Sanji fought them it would be close right now, so by benchmark I mean fully surpassing that to the point where it’d be like Wings vs Calamities.

To me Prime Ray/Gaban are Raftel benchmarks so after Wings fight either admirals or BBP whichever comes first

Since Zoro and Sanji are gonna surpass prime Ray and Gaban in the future, i see it as followed.
If prime ray and gaban were truly mid-high Top Tiers, which they most likely were, then Zoro and Sanji would surpass them after beating high Top Tiers - maybe Admirals.
Which is not happening soon and they would have to grow in that fight aswell.
So based on that i think the most logical answer would be, after Elbaf they are gonna be around old Ray and Gaban level.

low top tier or around it I guess?
Even if boosted, I feel Killingham and Super Sommers are too "random" as opponents for the wings to reach a milestone superior to this.
I expect them to be able to give a fight to any top tier after Elbaf, but there will still be some a gap of some kind.

Not really measurable. We know their next major opponents are the top two Titanic Captains, who aren't in the Gorosei, Yonko, or Admiral league. So, most likely, they'll start closing in on the very bottom of top tier when they win their BBP matchups and only become bona fide top tiers when they beat the Admirals.

Currently, I'd place them around Marco's level. He's the only commander besides Beckman and the top Titanic Captains who's proven to be comfortably above the Calamities. Narratively, though, it's more likely that Marco is slightly weaker or at most equal to Shiryu and Lafitte because Blackbeard and his crew should surpass/match Whitebeard and his commanders. Shanks doesn't really matter here because his crew probably won't face the Straw Hats in a serious battle.

Looking at what Zoro and Sanji are set to attain in their upcoming fights, which seems to be highly specific powers meant to counter highly specific abilities, I don't see this as a meaningful jump in overall strength. The same applies to Luffy, who's likely set to lose against Imu anyway.

I disagree but we can agree to disagree on this.
Out of curiosity how do you think Oars JR scales to Dorry and Broggy? Keep in mind that the earlier was an ancient Giant.

Don't think the wings are going to be getting conclusive 1 v 1s against the Admirals. Prime Ray/Gaban are in and arond that Yonko/Admiral level so the wings achieving that level doesn't really affect that fight.

Now the only apparent issue is the Blackbeard Pirates but if Teach is going to be a End Game Villian of a similar manginitude to Imu then we are very likely to see monumental jumps in strength for his crew members particulalry Zoro and Sanji's opponents and given the power creep on Elbaf it is likely that the likes of Shiryuu and Lafitte are above the standard of Prime Ray/Gaban when they face off against the wings.

This whole restrictive argument on the wings PLs reminds me of the same conversations people had about Luffy on Wano particularly with regards to his promised fight gainst Shanks in the future.

Luffy cannot be that strong because so and so...but then you have Wano and now Elbaf that has completely shattered Power Scaling
