I think the general Bleach rule is: Whoever you are, whatever you are. Mayuri with prep basically cannot lose. Doesnt matter what kind of asspull or invention he worked on off screen. And its not even cause he is some super scientist but amoral enough to try anything.

Confirmation that Aizen reigned supreme and made sense that Aizen was the reason the show was able to end as Yhwach was too much for Ichigo.

Honest to god Kubo perfected the art of trolling with some of his characters. Wish Oda could make characters like that, the closest is Kizaru lol.
