This is where i'm at.

If this leads to Gunko/Shuri becoming an ally and giving us information that lets the crew fight better in this situation, then it's a worthwhile flashback and this is the sensible time to do it.

I imagine this also leads to a Brook power up.

Some just don't like the fact we are getting this flashback right before Zoro and Sanji's fight against the Holy Knights, and right in the middle of the Imu vs Loki fight.

But I don't see any problem with it, it's better to have the flashback now and get it over with it, than let's say have it right in the middle of Zoro and Sanji's fight against Super Sommers and Killingham.

I've told you the content is not an issue.

But we are in the MIDDLE of the climax (the xebec/harald flashback was already after Imu arrived as Gunkimu) and people are excited about how this end of arc is gonna unfold.

Slowing it down for ANOTHER flashback, added with the sheer amount of breaks One Piece has on a regular basis, completely kills the vibe people have trying to follow it weekly.
