Post-TS Akainu is about as threatening as a puppy barking at his superiors
His most important role as fleet admiral and so far he hasn't done a successful thing on-screen nor kill the one target he was supposed to kill
Pre-TS Akainu was hot back when admirals were at the top of the food chain. Now he's relegated to sitting at his desk doing meaningless paperwork while allowing new yonkos to rise and Marejois go up in flames

Mihawk? Kinda disappointed in the low screentime CG generally takes so far.
Akainu is just your regular overmotivated cop gifted with a premium logia, so expectations haven't been high
Dragon, aka Bumgon aka Donothinggon aka Runawaygon aka DraCantevencarry2kidssafelyfromAtoBgon? Absolutely. A regular ass logia user who collected a bunch of other bums. They ran away the second Teach and maybe half his crew entered their place.

Akainu at least got to show off at Marineford, the other two might as well be blank slates with some lofty titles (no, bullying Don Krieg and cutting a piece of ice don't count as feats).
I think "disappointed" is a strong word to use, but I have waited so long for any of these three to do something grand that when they finally do it now, I will still probably think it's cool (I'm an easy man to please) but had that happened 5 or even more years ago, I would have been more hyped. Now I will just think "finally, something cool out of this guy" instead of just "OMG he just did something fucking cool!".
Ten years of WEDDINGU CAKU and endless irrelevant minor Wano characters took their toll on me.

The disappointment ultimately lies with Oda, but:
- Dragon: yes. It’s ridiculous to have such an important character introduced so early and still just have “…” be all he gets to do.
- Akainu: still waiting on other antagonists to live up to what he’s done. He makes others like the Rocks duo alliance in Wano look like disappointments.
- Mihawk: not much to do to begin with. Has a pretty defined path of losing to let Zoro gain a title. It’s just what Oda has done with the title that’s the disappointment

All of them are stronger than mid yonkos like BM/Kaido and they are definetely story final stuff characters. Akainu is the best villain so far. No one even close to him in terms of emotions villain took us. I still meet people who hate him for what he did in Marineford. This is the best indicator of a great villain.
