Chapter Discussion One Piece is still extremely Manichean

I know it's a children's manga, But seriously, this is the tenth time Oda has served us the same story of the rich guy helping the kid from the slums. Ever since the appearance of the Celestial Dragons and Sabo's flashback, it's been nothing but that.
Even the story with the Marines and the gangs is predictable.
And let's not even talk about Brook calling the king "bro"

Does the One Piece teach about a World of Light vs "The Material World"

Does it teach pacifism
Does it teach chastity

Does it talk about how certain food are impure?

Nika alone would be considered evil in Manicheanism regardless of what good he does
You don't understand. In French, the word "manichéen" means thinking that there are good guys on one side and bad guys on the other, being morally binary, believing that there is evil on one side and good on the other. In Oda's work, this translates to the poor slum dwellers being kind and generous, and the villains being indecently rich. It's stupid and idiotic.
