I kind of hope Gunko can be free from the deep sea covonent after reading about the chapters on brook's backstory I wonder if they will be able to find a way to break it.

So here is the theory if it happens it will be from either chopper the same as domi reversing worked or it will be Brook and the soul + music stuff meaning Imu covonent are soul related.

It seems to be what Oda is planning. Gunko seems to be locked in her status by Imu. Something might have had happen that pushed her to act, just like Loki, her memoery were taken away or disappeared and she is now a form of slave. Luffy and his crew tends to free people in that kind of position so Gunko should end up delivered.

But she should age very quickly after that.
