Its just good guys getting hyped and going great and the villains looking like retarded clowns, Oda just cant help himself.
Oh, quit deliberately overexaggerating. Imu knocked aside Zoro and Sanji with one attack each, has countered everything Loki has thrown his way and will comfortably fight him and Luffy at the same time. It's only when his weird illness forces him out that the fight will end, not with them beating him.

Cheese for everyone!

1- Everyone Imu attacked at this point is back and running.
2- Imu has been getting stalled by an injured Loki.
3- He somehow made Imu into a hostage taker.
4- The Luffy punch which isnt that bad but the above makes me mad.

1. Yes...and? Would it be better for them to spend five chapters incapicated while Super Sommers and Killingham just wait around for nothing?

2. Who is also is one of the strongest characters in the series.

3. And imagine that: a villain doing bad things.

Base luffy blitzing and punching imu like that is stupid lets be honest. You don't built up your villain to be OP and only for a much much iteration of a character overpowering them like that.
I think it's really just an issue of taking things chapter by chapter, instead of going back and reading it when it's all done. Like, when Enel had his famous freakout...the fight didn't end just there. It kept going.

Like if that happened when this forum was around? People would be calling Enel a fraud and such despite being unstoppable up until then.

1- It would be better if there were somewhat lasting consequences.
2- Still Im dehype.
3- Not the point, it makes him look like a cowardly clown.

Sanji just got whacked by a tail. And then even needed help up. Like, should Imu have used a magic curse to make him sweat blood?

And yes, it actually is the point. He wants the giants to be his Janissaries. Forcing them to fight by keeping their children hostage is how that works.

After reading this chapter, Luffy's punch landing is even more retarded...
Luffy is literally screaming at him, charging from far away straight to his face, IN BASE FORM!!!!, and Imu being so ''surprised'' or what the fuck ever to not being able to block or dodge is retarded.
Luffy is gonna go gear 5 and Imu won't be struggling too much with that the next few chapters and G5 is >>>>>>>>>> Base Form...

This is the same shit Oda pulled with Kaidou, where Luffy in Base Form was EVENLY clashing with Hybrid Kaidou -> went into G4 which is >>>> Base Form and stil clashed EVENLY with Hybrid Kaidou, there was like no power up what so ever, even tho there should be a visible difference.

With this move here, he does the same shit and all just for this, as Redon would say ''EPIC FINAL SUPPER DUPPER DOUBLE PAGE HYPE CLIFFHANGER!!!!''...

Snakeman isn't all that tbh. It's just optimized for attack speed. In Boundman there was a clear difference.
