General & Others Dear Sanji fandom, this is a massive win.

Sanji fans, I usually clown yall. Tell y'all that the wins y’all claim are fake. I always tell y'all that I have never been wrong. Well today, I will admit that I was wrong. I didn’t want or believe Sanji would get CoC until Gaban had it. I still don’t like the idea of it.

However, today ya’ll are the victors and this is a well deserved win. I admit, that I was wrong. Enjoy, rub it in my face, rub it in the face of Zorotards, rub it in the face of all of the Sanji downplayers. Yall deserve it.
serious question, why don’t you like the idea of it?

Both Sanji and Zoro clearly have the willpower to stand above others. They are both fantastic characters who never back down from anything.
Given we have seen multiple confirmed users now that don’t just want to be strong I thought it was clear Sanji was going to get it.

I'm partly messing with you, but the truth is, which you may not agree with, but it's just the facts. The moment Rayleigh, a subordinate of the previous Pirate King, was shown to have it, the wheels were set in motion toward Zoro and Sanji eventually unlocking it.

There is no asspull because Oda never established any specific criteria for it. Rayleigh lived to make Roger King, and that was enough for him to be a Conqueror. Ace lived to make Whitebeard King, and that was enough for him. Sanji lives to make Luffy King, and that was always enough. This wasn't revealed to us in Chapter 1187. It's been there for a long, long time.
So I admitted he’d get it when we saw Gaban use it. I did however, say I’d prefer he gets something unique to him. I didn’t want CoC to be given to everyone.

If I’m being honest I really wanted it to be exclusive to the top of the top tiers. CoC was introduced as a rare thing and ACoC was supposed to be even more rare. In my opinion it takes away from how special Luffy’s power up was. I didn’t think Zoro should have gotten it either but it made more sense because it was foreshadowed since pre ts.

I also didn’t see Sanji as someone with the qualities of a king.

But if he got "Power of Love" and people said its equivalent to zoros advcoc you'd be here telling us we are claiming fake victory
Only way to give sanji the respect he deserves was CoC. And oda realized that

If you believed Sanji was special enough to receive a tailor-made COC equivalent power, then you shouldn't have a problem accepting him as a Conqueror. But if you believed this unique power was meant to portray Sanji as unworthy of being a Conqueror and served as a cheap alternative, then you simply never understood who this character is or how Oda has viewed him since his inception. It's just downplay, pure and simple. This chapter should have opened your eyes.

That is the best way for me. If he gets it when his eye brows flip and he gets a little colder I’d be happy with it.
Key is him accepting warrior of science, when he does his Germa powers will fully awaken with CoC.
Sanji will not become a conqueror through 'Evil Germa Sanji'. This completely gives you all away. It's a love of the edgy and the stoic, and it's probably why so many Zoro fans have issues with Sanji.

Sanji needing to become like Zoro in demeanour to become a conqueror (albeit only a little) goes against how the two are often opposites. One has outward expressions of emotion, positive and negative, whilst the other keeps almost everything inside. I am not saying one of those is superior to another, simply that it doesn't make sense to change Sanji to give him this power.

People focus too much on the word 'conqueror'. It's more accurate to call CoC 'King's Haki' as shown in this chapter. There are different kinds of King. Zoro is basically the depiction of a warrior king, meanwhile I'd see Sanji as a benevolent one.

Power of love would have been worse. It sounds cheesy as hell. He could have gotten flames that didn’t burn out. That would be a great counter for the gods knights. But if it’s Power of Love vs ACoC I’ll take ACoC all day

The only thing that will change my mind about Sanji is for him to start winning fights against impressive characters and stop getting hype tooled. That’s with or without CoC, haki alone doesn’t make me like a character. What this chapter did for me is let me know that yall Sanji fans were absolutely right when yall said characters like Kat didn’t have the qualities that we said were that if a conqueror and WB to for that matter. At this point, wanting to be a “king”doesn’t matter.

Nah it is not. The only ass pull thing in here is Gyaban capable to seen someone without oozing his CoC haki and still could determine someone had the quality of King.
It really well written tbh
I thought about that and decided to let it slide. lol it’s pure bullshit. He doesn’t know the first thing about Sanji but knows he has the qualities of a conqueror some how lol ok.

It’s not an edgy or stoic thing for me. I interpreted the entire self doubt thing has Sanji not be confident in his lineage. I could be completely wrong.

The only things that I don’t like about Sanjis character are his gag about women, and the way he’s been handled in fight post ts. I’ve always mentioned that I think he has one of the best designs, the coolest fighting styles, and I’ll even say so far out of the M3 he has the best back story.

My issues with Sanjis character were never him not being edgy enough. He’s a cool character but anyone that can’t admit that he was handled poorly in most fights post ts is just lying.
