Remind me, how tall is Blackbeard again? He's somewhere in the 3m range, right? Like, taller than any Admiral (except maybe Captain Planet?), but not by much from memory.
Honestly, trying to use Burgess to cap Sanji’s ceiling is just pure cope. If Teach actually becomes the final boss with awakened absolute darkness/Davy Jones successor, his core crew is getting hit with the most ridiculous endgame buffs imaginable. Power creep hits everyone at the top, so it doesn't matter who the matchup is. Whoever stands in Sanji's way at the end is going to be a monster because Oda is clearly ready to give the Chef the ultimate wank before the story wraps up. People just use these matchup debates as a proxy to downplay Sanji because they can't handle him being that strong. It’s transparent as glass.
This gotta be Blackbeard giving omens to his crew, the actual godknights are awful fighters so giving that kind of buff to people who are already strong might be endgame material. That’s why I think it might be Sanji vs Pizarro because the buff might allow Pizarro to mix with the redline and that could tie Sanji's final fight to the all blue if he destroys part of the RL.
That’s really a far-fetched theory though.
But at this point Oda pulled the Imu vs Monkey D Luffy in English so I don’t think Imu is making it to the end of the story cause doing it a second time would be lame.
Told yall Sanji and Zoro carry this manga.
No one cared about Luffy punching Imu last chapter, no one even talking about G5 Luffy vs Imu this chapter, but Sanji & Zoro just talk and barely do anything, and suddenly One Piece is back for everyone.
