Not sure exactly what people are expecting from him but he’s doing fine taking a step back and being a helmsman

Oda showed that he just can't handle any more characters in the crew, and Jimbei should had not joined

Jimbei is an amazing character, well develop on the fish men and human hatred debate, with depth and complexity

Him being in the crew didn't do him any good, we can delete him from the past arcs and it changes little ( this can be said of most Strawhats, but they joined pre time skip)

Jimbei is not a character we need to see on every arc
