Sorry but I will be ranting one more time:

On paper, this chapter is very good, but it's not the exptionnal stuff that should be getting all these votes on this forum (even tho it completely deserve this high note), some previous chapters were technically much better and yet, without these ratings.

This situation tells me one simple thing : The Sanji and Zoro fandoms are the core of the One Piece hate.

When I recall the hatred starting from fishman island to Wano and beyond, the sources have always been the illegitimate expectations of these two fanbase.

On top of that, their rivalty pushed eachothers to be as critical as possible of the story to diss on the other fandom, pushing a mindset of trashtalk based on bad critics to criticize each beats that were going against these two characters (Sanji not having the "proper" fight in Whole Cake, Zoro not having the "proper" story in Wano, Sanji being "ridiculed" in Fishmen Island, Sanji not being able to touch Doffy in Dressrosa, Sanji's and Zoro's constant overshadowing by Luffy etc.).

This momentum pushed other fandom to take the same pace and behaviors thus creating illegitimate expectations about every character. NOTHING based on the story but only on what they wanted to see. (Big Mom so called "disrespect", Xebec's treatment, Oden's dance, Usopp's lack of moments).

Strangely the Luffy fandom is still the one who stayed clean of this phenomenon. Perhaps because the qualities of Luffy are clear and fans of this characters usually stand on much healthier interactions and understand its richness (not including people criticizing gear 5, these people are not fan of Luffy nor do they understand the story or the character)

It is therefore not a surprise that the one chapter where both characters are glazing each others is the one that created the most attraction. This one.

It's funny to me because people are now acknowledging stuff (like the amazing writing of Sanji) that we - defenders of the story - have been hammering for dedaces literaly.

2024, but I was already saying the same back in 2017 when similar dumbasses as in this forum were crying about Sanji not having a good fight in whole cake and then later when he was just "baking a cake"

And I can bet most of you ZOro fans here still don't understand how good Zoro's writing truly is. And I bet you will complain then again of the same lack of content as you did in Wano and the day you finally see what Oda has been cooking all this time, (probably at the end of the story) you will crawl back saying that post timeskip Zoro is just too good.

Yeah... That is gonna be funny.

Did you forget that Sanji was heavily nerfed by Top 1 in the verse nuke kick like 5 minutes before this fight and that Killingham is now buffed by the same Top 1 in the verse dude?
This attempt to downplay the (CoC)ook is pathetic, better fasten your seatbelts for what is about to happen in the next few chapters
:Egg_cited::arnoling::sanmoji:
Can you show me any statement in the manga where it says Sanji got slower prior to his fight against Killingham? Did Luffy get slower prior to his fight against Kaido because he was knocked out by Apoo?
