True, sport is mostly what we call soft power, a way to spread the influence of the country. In fact it is the ultimate way to do that because not only does sport allows for countries to spread their political influence, but it also allow them to push the nationalistic affects of their populations through the games.

Football, in this sense, is a big machine to create patriotic rethorics. It just happens that this time, the necessity to counter racism far exceed the necessity to be carefull in front of this affect.

Now I just want to see mbappé T-bag the hell out of everyone. From the director of Fifa to Trump the fascist supporting racist populations and cheating teams.
