Now here's why I think that Melkor pushing for counter-claim on Orca isn't clearing and could have been a bus.
Lord Melkor starts the phase early by shading Orca and Relo primarily, and he's willing to place an early vote against him. One, at this point I think it's pretty surefire that at least one of this trio is scum, frankly I have two of them as scum. So Lord Melkor is okay with playing a bussing game, but he did not actually lead this wagon against Orca.
Relo, Saka, Orca were on Dio here.
Of those three i am town leaning Saka, even after yesteday's fiasco.
So Orca and Relo could be PB's teammates?
Except then the Orca lynch actually begins picking up and gaining momentum, at which point Charlie attempts to create momentum for a secondary wagon on Yo Tan Wa and Lord Melkor jumps on board with that.
Orca has like 6 votes already so there's no point of throwing another one on the pile rn
Vote Lynch YTW for 2ndary wagon
Vote Lynch Yo Tan Wa
As a claimed indie he should claim his powers and wincon in partricular.
Lord Melkor never moved his vote back to Orca after switching it to Yo Tan Wa here, anybody present in the thread can go ISO his post history and verify this for themselves. He went off Orca and did not place himself back again.
So now we have to ask ourselves why a scum who started finding success with this wagon suddenly decided to abandon it once it actually started picking up traction? It would have been a major win for Lord Melkor to simply stay steady on the Orca train, he was fine to distance and cast doubt on him the phase, but not keep his vote there. This is supposed to be what exonerates Orca?
These were the players who kept votes on Orca.
Myself (Town), Al Sama (Confirmed town), Michelle (???)
I'm inclined to believe that Michelle is probably town too and this was just an organic push against Orca.
Now take a look at what the suspect players doing during the LM - Orca vote.
Charlie - Tried to build a secondary wagon and only temporarily placing his vote on Orca after I put heat on him which he then quickly withdrew for CW.
gingerbread - Abstained from voting entirely.
Orca - Tried building a counter-wagon against Michelle and didn't switch to Melkor until it was clear the votes were splitting between the two of them, then abandoned that for someone he didn't even view as a suspect.
SakazOuki - Had vote on Melkor until the opportunity showed up for a CW lynch in which they quickly rallied the forces to move there.
Reloaded - Frivolously bounced between both wagons until the CW lynch started gaining momentum and bounced there.
And when I look at that this doesn't sound like a story of Orca, victim of scum counter-wagon, and more like a bunch of mafia running around with their heads cut off because they can't find another angle and then diving on the mouse-trap the moment they thought they saw one.
In the thick of this, you have mostly been running straight defense, with no solves. And the argument I am expected to believe is that if you were scum you would have played a much smarter and less obvious game, but also that you are not a mastermind and you had no choice to abandon the lynch on your top-scum read in favor of someone you never suspected because you got tagged to do so in the thread.
Vote Lynch Orca
