SakazOuki being the redirect means they might have been scared he'd flip an action against him, that's a dangerous role to keep in the game and with the protections that were in place last phase that would have narrowed the window.

Yo Tan Wa wasn't killed by the scum team, they exited the game because they successfully completed their goal as non-hostile independent.
