No he's just using a sword. And another sword. And another sword. Oh and also another sword. And another sword. Yes, you guessed it right, there it is, another sword. His garden consists more of sword than flowers. But he's no swordsman. Just like Rocks was a shockwave man that coincidentally happened to use a sword or like Hakiman Shanks who coincidentally also explicitly fights with a sword, Imu is not a swordsman.
Hard to scale them both but I think it's safe to say that they are both above Gunko atm who I personally have on the higher end of the high tiers amongst the likes of King & Kat (worst case scenario Doffy level). Prior to that I reckon they were comparable to Jack at best.
Post Omen buff I'd say Sommers and Kiringham caught up to Gunko's level with their physicals probably being amongst the best in the high tier category.
Post weapon buff, I'd say low top tier? so prolly right about where you have them though I don't necessarily agree with both being 2 bil as that's prolly where Zoro and Sanji post Elbaf are gonna be at except Oda's gonna put them at 3 bil which will be a pleasant surprise if so. Dorry and Broggy are also 1.8bil and they get absolutely washed by Kiringham and Sommers.
Who's the strongest character you reckon they beat?

Luffy’s on death’s door but he didn’t just take a hit from Imu
He took a hit and then to top it off he took a lethal blow from a blade from his personal armory
Then was stabbed again with Imu prepping another attack to truly finish him off
So after all that Luffy’s probably at 0.1% HP
Zoro took some damage but nothing too major. I’d guess he’s fairly close to his full strength
Maybe 80-90%
Sanji’s weird because it was noted that he took a lot of damage earlier and shouldn’t be standing but he doesn’t seem too bad to me
He’s probably at like 50%
