Rocks was a one of a kind man who truly reminded us that this series was always about pirates, glory and ambitions:


But sadly tragedy too. Something that Oda does phenomenally well.

I already miss him. Classic hallmark of a well written character. You feel a wound after they're gone.

I was too negative on his design initially but it really grew on me. His personality and actions truly made him the exception, for the right reasons too.

Gonna need to find more edits that encompass his whole storyline.

I love this trend of people dying to save their loved ones in the series, no better reason to die than if it helps protect the ones you love. If you have no other choice I mean ofc.
