This is where we differ. I don't want a marxist world. I want voluntary collectivism through personal responsibility rather than government mandated contributions.
Well, so am I...

. It's why I've always said unified families are the best example of 'communism' that can work.
Now that's where we differ. For us, families are actually a form of closed authoritarian system. We know that by their very nature, they create dominations against multiples members with a form of inate confinement that multiply the potential long lasting effects of these oppression and prevens any form of reparations. This is mainly why we believe that we need to abolish the familial institution and come back to something closer to what we had within pre-neolitical tribes (as in shared parenting)

I want a pre-enlightenment world.
This would mean feudalism... To me, it rather looks like you are aiming for a form of communism that would be completely traditionnal in the conservative form of the word.

The people within shared parenting were so close that they were effectively families. We do not have that level of community today, and liberalism is the cause of that (among other things). When I speak of family I do not mean the nuclear family, I'm referring to extended family as well, of which used to live in close proximity. I believe one should give up some personal liberty and desires, which sometimes involves things you want, in favour of the wider collective structure - in this case, the family.

I know what I want lol. I do think hierarchy is a good thing. I'd rather have a monarch than what we have right now. At least I'd have someone to blame.

True, but the point of the abolition of family is precisely to bring the fluidity of education back into the mix. Where multiple generations of people can live together, where children can move around different social groups where the entire society participate in the education of an individual rather than a privatized confined model that isolate individual completely and reproduces dominations and social inequalities.

I see.

Hm... This still sounds like a form of reproduction of a domination system to me. Giving for a collective for the sol reason that it is "a family" collective is where I draw the line personnally. I believe we should only prioritize the collective for collective reason rather than traditionnal models.

I see, so it was indeed feudalism, but with a collective mindset in mind... which well can only creates contradictions, but ok I understand better now lol

Me saying I'd prefer a monarch to what we have now is =/= I want a monarch.

I don't believe in liberalism or democracy though. The latter is just rule by oligarch in disguise, and if not, it is rule by midwit, which just leads to selfish choices across the board.

I believe we should only prioritize the collective for collective reason rather than traditionnal models.
I account for the fact that we can barely conceptualise above a certain amount of people into my equation. Ultimately, I feel we should live in less interconnected societies, more regional than global. Our interests align with our environment.

What type of governement do you want?

I think this aligns pretty well with communism. (at the condition that what you mean by "interconnected societies" is centrality, form of isolated societies would negate the purpose of a collective to me.)

Btw, there might be a missunderstanding here. I may be advocating for communism, but I'm advocating only for the result (being a classless and stateless society), the actual centralism which would be the marxist-leninist model, I'm not a fan of. I believe we can reach communism through a form of marxism AND anarchists upbringing..

In other word, I too consider that we should get rid of centralities and prioritize a collective regional form of interconnectivity when towns or village are their own communities but being part of a greater "collective system" (all communist and autonomous in practice) that evolves in functions of the needs.

The West still has those types in flyover America and Rural Europe tbh
I yearn to live in such a community to be honest.

but being part of a greater "collective system"
I don't believe in the greater collective system.

What type of governement do you want?
I genuinely flip-flop on this element. What I know is that I don't want what we have in most Western nations. As stated before, I'd much rather have a monarch who was responsible than a collective that can disseminate responsibility to a degree that nobody is responsible.

You have African Americans who would tell you "who cares about fucking Ukraine Iran or Gaza, my Brother got shot by the blood" at a family function if you try too hard to be the intellectual redditor type
I mean, I don't really disagree. These concerns are not ours to bother ourselves with. The concept of nationalism is fairly recent, and globalism even more so.

The Xbox is actually reasonable, Video Games avoided the Inflation for way too long and their loss leader strategy is starting to bite them too much

People warned of this when Sony Microsoft and Nintendo practically ended their competition and settled in their own spaces, they now have zero reason to pander to customers
How is it biting them too much if they are making more profits than ever

How is it biting them too much if they are making more profits than ever
They didn't get profits from Video Game if you actually look it up

Console AAA gaming is just dying and slowly becoming a niche privilege , I mean it was always Privileged from a global perspective from the first place and in the 80/90s it was something parents worked hard to get for their kids who had to share it

Let's not forget the SNES controversy of the 90s where working class parents started a campaign against Nintendo for releasing a new Console

The 00s in the western world were the exception, not the rule
